Gurindji Takataka – animals and hunting

Our language Gurindji is spoken in the Victoria River District of northern Australia.

Sign language is an important part of communication for us. We use it to talk with people who are a long way from us. We use it to communicate with people who are deaf.

Many signs have more than one meaning. For some meanings there are more than one sign.
